There was a lot of buzz last week about the upcoming Sony PS4 "winning" the next-gen console wars because it would have a lower price than Microsoft's Xbox One and didn't block the sale of used games. We think the PS4 will be a hit for another reason: like the PSP, PSVita and PS3, the PS4 will be region free, meaning anime fans can buy ecchi fighting games, Hatsune Miku pantsu simulators dancing games and other otaku-friendly titles and play them on hardware from anywhere in the world.
